Abstract
English conversational classes are offered by language courses to help students improve their speaking and communication skills in English. In the learning process, behavioral involvement is important because it influences learning outcomes, as well as in English conversation classes. Second, language exposure which includes 1) expressing unknown words, and 2) repeating new words. Third, personal development which involves 1) confidence. Fourth, adherence is shown through 1) following the rules, and 2) respecting time limit. Keywords: Behavioral engagement, conversational practices, English course
