Abstract
This research aims to determine the factors of Foreign Language Classroom Anxiety and Foreign Language Enjoyment during the English Immersion program carried out by junior high school students at one of the private schools in Tasikmalaya City. This research uses a descriptive case study method. The participants in this study were two female students from a private junior high school in Tasikmalaya City, West Java, Indonesia. Data was collected using thematic analysis from (Braun & Clarke, 2006). The results showed factors of anxiety and enjoyment for the participants. Foreign language classroom anxiety factors in English immersion are divided into two parts: background knowledge and students’ low self-esteem. Meanwhile, two factors are found in Foreign Language Enjoyment: teaching methodology and students’ high self-esteem. Researchers suggest that future research should add some participants to explore other factors from several students so that teachers can later overcome factors that make students anxious and develop factors that make students enjoy foreign language classes. This will help create an inclusive learning environment catering to diverse learning needs. Keywords: Foreign Language Classroom Anxiety, Foreign Language Enjoyment, English Immersion
