Abstract
Digital storytelling is one of technology that can be used in language learning to help students develop their language skills better. But there are still many teachers who have not been able to make good use of technology. Thus, this study aims to find out the effect of the use of Digital Storytelling on students’ visual memory in EFL classrooms. The research design of this study is quantitative method using pre�experimental design. This research consists of 2 variables; Digital Storytelling as dependent variable, and students’ visual memory as independent variable. The research design used was One group pre and post-test design of Quasi Experiment. The data was collected used pre-test and post-test. Based on the analysis of paired samples test, the research results show that Sig. (2-tailed) 0.001 < 0.05. Thus, Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, this proves that the use of Digital Storytelling media is proven to be able to increase students' visual memory in language learning with a significance level of 5%. This can help students understand content, vocabulary, language use, and mechanisms in language learning. Keywords: digital storytelling, visual memory, EFL classroom.
