Abstract

The study aims to investigate the implementation of how the teacher teaches English pronunciation in higher education students. The research method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative research. In an effort to collect data, this research observed one participant who taught an Advanced English pronunciation course at a university in Tasikmalaya, West Java, Indonesia. The researcher also used thematic analysis to analyse the data. Therefore, researchers found that in implementing teaching English pronunciation, teachers used several techniques, namely imitating and drilling, corrective feedback, phonetic training, and use of LCD Projector, whiteboard and smartphone in teaching English. In conclusion, the use of this technique helps students in learning pronunciation and enhancing their pronunciation. Keywords: English Pronunciation, Implementation
