PENGARUH ANGKA HARAPAN HIDUP, INFLASI, LAJU PERTUMBUHAN EKONOMI, DAN PENDAPATAN PERKAPITA TERHADAP INDEKS PEMBANGUNAN MANUSIA DI PROVINSI BANTEN PADA TAHUN 2005-2023

This study aims to analyze the influence of Life Expectancy (X1), Inflation (X2), Economic Growth Rate (X3), and Per Capita Income (X4) on the Human Development Index (HDI) in Banten Province during the 2005-2023 period. The data utilized in this research are secondary data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) and analyzed using multiple regression and classical assumption tests. The results show that Life Expectancy has a positive and significant effect on HDI, while Inflation does not significantly influence HDI. Economic Growth Rate has a negative impact, whereas Per Capita Income positively and significantly affects HDI. These findings align with previous studies, which suggest that improvements in life expectancy and per capita income contribute positively to the quality of life, while poorly managed economic growth may have adverse effects. The classical assumption tests confirm that the regression model used in this study is valid and meets the requirements for its application.
