Abstract

Family partnerships with early childhood education in children's classroom learning will develop knowledge and understanding of parents and teachers as well as those related to early childhood education and development. The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation and analyze the influence of family partnerships with early childhood education in the learning process through the parents activity program applied in early childhood education to the level of parent participation in child education. The research method used is descriptive research with mixed methods approach. The population is parents of learners in PAUD Alphabet Tasikmalaya City. Samples were taken as many as 32 parents who have implemented parents activity with purposive sampling technique. Techniques of collecting data through observation, interviewing and distributing questionnaires. The research instrument used is interview, questionnaire and documentation. Technical analysis of data used is regression analysis and data triangulation. The results showed that family partnerships with early childhood education in learning through parents activity program in early childhood PAUD had an effect on parent participation rate with a percentage of 24.5%. The implication of this research is the result of this research can be an idea contribution for early childhood education provider to hold the parents activity program in increasing the participation of parent involvement in the education of their child as one of the partnership program between family and early childhood education so that the creation of holistic education and integrative to achieve the goals of early childhood education. Recommendations for researchers innovation of various variations of parents activity learning activities to be more interesting. So parents are more interested in getting involved in the activity and the participation of parents will increase.
