Abstract
Tasikmalaya 3 State Vocational High School (SMKN 3 Tasikmalaya) is one of the Vocational High Schools organized by the City Government of Tasikmalaya, West Java province. Providing information regarding the location of each room is needed so that visitors can find out exactly which room they are going to. The design and development of an introduction application for SMKN 3 Tasikmalaya will use 360º image technology and virtual reality. The 360º image technology was chosen because it can display building location information and certain spaces in a 360º perspective so that users can see things clearly and realistically. The use of virtual reality technology will provide a new and different experience for users. The methods that will be carried out are data collection, needs analysis, software engineering using the Luther-Sutopo development method, testing using blackbox testing, and evaluation using the System Usability Scale (SUS). Application development will use Unity. The application will run on an Android-based operating system and the application can be used in virtual reality mode. The results of the study were conducted on 15 respondents who had visited and 15 respondents who had never visited SMK Negeri 3 Tasikmalaya, obtained an average score through a questionnaire with a score of 74.3 which means that the VR application of SMK NEGERI 3 TASIKMALAYA is included in the Acceptability Ranges "Acceptable ” which means accepted, included in the grade scale C and included in the adjective rating "Good" which means good.
