Abstract

ABSTRACT THE EFFECT OF PUBLIC GOODS, INVESTMENT, AND ECONOMY GROWTH TO SOCIAL WELFARE THROUGH EMPLOYMENT OF INDONESIA IN 2007-2021 By: Gisa NPM. 183401103 Guide I : Aso Sukarso Guide II : Dwi Hastuti Lestari K Employment, economic growth, and social welfare being the final answers of economic development according to National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN) 2020-2024. To achieve the answers sustained with availability of public goods who support and evenly distributed in Indonesia. It will be attracting investors to invest in Indonesia. Investment will add capital stock that will increase productivity, capacity, and product quality and until will improve the economy growth and employment. The aim of this study is to analyze direct effect and indirect effect of public goods, investment, and economy growth to social welfare through employment of Indonesia in 2007-2021. Hypothesis testing in this study is conducted by using Path Analysis under SPSS ver. 25.0 with level of significance α= 0,05 obtained the following result: 1). Public goods and investment have positive and insignificant effect to employment. Economic growth has positive and significant effect to employment of Indonesia in 2007-2021. 2). Public goods and investment have positive and significant effect to social welfare. Economic growth has positive and insignificant effect to social welfare and employment have negative and signifikan effect to social welfare of Indonesia in 2007-2021. 3). Public goods and investment indirect effect insignifikan to social welfare through employment, economic growth indirect effect signifikan to social welfare through employment to Indonesia in 2007-2021.
