Abstract
Field experiment was conducted to study the effect of Arbuscular Mycorhi.zal Fungi (AMF) inoculations and rice straw humic substances treatment on yield of maize on Ultisol. The experiment used randomized block design and the treatments were replicated three times; the first factor was AMF consisted of four levels (0, 1.2, 2.4, dan 3.6 t ha-1) and the second factor was rice straw humic substances consisted of four levels (0, 0.45, 0.9, and 1.35 t ha-1). The results showed that the yield of maize was affected by AMF and rice straw humic substances treatment. The highest yield of dried maize grain was 6.45 t ha-1 at the AMF dosage of 2.46 t ha-1 and rice straw humic s:..ibstances of 0.97 t ha-1 . Keywords: maize, mycorrhiza, humic substances, ultisol
