Abstract
An experiment was conducted in Faculty of Agriculture Farm Laboratory, University of Siliwangi Tasikmalaya from April to August 2011, to study effect of composition plant media to growth and yield of chilli pepper variety Hot Beauty that planted in pots. The experiment was arranged in randomized complete block design with nine treatment combination and replicated three times. The treatment combination are A= soil 15 kg+ NPK fertilizer 7.5 g \'°f1; B= soil 15 kg+ NPK fertilizer 3.75 g pof1; C= soil 15 kg+ NPK fertilizer 1.875 g pof ; D= soil 12 kg+ organic fertilizer 3 kg+ NPK fertilizer 7.5 g pof1; E= soil 12 kg + organic fertilizer 3 kg + NPK fertilizer 3.75 g pof1; F= soil 12 kg + organic fertilizer 3 kg + NPK fertilizer 1.875 g pof1; G= soil 9 kg + organic fertilizer 6 kg + NPK fertilizer 7.5 g pof1; H= soil 9kg + organic fertilizer 6 kg+ NPK fertilizer 3.75 g pof1 and I= soil 9 kg + organic fertilizer 6 kg + NPK fertilizer 1.875 g pof1 . The result of experiment indicated that composition of plant media give significantly influence to growth and yield of chilli .. Composition of plant media that consist of soil 9 kg + organic fertilizer 6 kg + NPK fertilizer 1,875 g produce weight of fruit per plant is 410.42 g.
