Abstract

Farming is the set of natural resources found in the place required for agricultural production, placement of diversified cropping patterns is required farming for diversification of agricultural produce and to reduce risks and uncertainties. The purpose of this research is to know the diversification pattern of vegetable farming, cost, income, reception, income contribution of vegetable farming to farm income for one year, and distribution of income of diversification of vegetable farming for one year. The research method used is a case study on a farmer in Indrajaya Village, Sukaratu District, Tasikmalaya District. Farming pattern of diversification of vegetable farming conducted by farmers of respondents for one year with total land amount of 0,99 hectare. In the A field (0.23 ha) the first season of cucumber planting, the second growing season planting the long bean, the third growing season planting the large chili, on the B (0.38 ha) field first season cucumber plant, the second growing season planted broccoli and the third growing season planted the eggplant, while on the C (0.38 ha) field the first season planted the cucumber, the second growing season planted beans and in the third season planted the cayenne pepper. The total cost incurred by respondents on the diversification of vegetable farming with a land area of 0,99 hectare of Rp 113,762,753.00. Total revenue of Rp 162,375,000.00, and total revenue Rp 48,612,247.00. The results of diversification are very contribute, while the income distribution obtained by farmers is relatively continuous so it can be used as subsequent farming capital.
